Prakhar has about three years of hands-on experience working on private equity investments, venture capital funding, mergers and acquisitions, business transfers, general corporate advisory, and commercial contracts.
He has been advising an array of international and domestic clients across various sectors including start-ups, high net worth individuals, joint ventures, and alternative investment funds registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
He regularly advises clients in the areas of corporate and commercial laws, exchange control laws, foreign investment, and other related laws. He is actively involved in conducting due diligence investigations, drafting, vetting, and negotiating transaction documents and commercial contracts.
He has an aptitude for writing and his articles have been published in reputed journals, newspapers, and online platforms including the Financial Express and Taxmann.
During his internships, he has also assisted in various litigations and matters, including the batch of writ petitions that challenged the constitutional validity of section 377 of the Indian Penal Code before the Supreme Court in 2018.
